Greene King Abbott Ale Greene King Abbott Ale

Greene King Abbot Ale 5%

Greene King Abbot Ale is brewed longer to a unique recipe. This makes it the full flavoured, smooth and mature beer it is today. It has masses of ripe fruit characters, a malty richness and a superb hop balance making it an exceptional ale. Abbot Ale is brewed with pale crystal and amber malts to give an attractive colour and rich malty tastes.

Greene King Strong Suffolk Ale Greene King Strong Suffolk Ale

Greene King Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale 6%

It pours a deep brown with a tight small light brown head. Good head retention. Strong aroma of fruity plums, malty caramel, chocolate and a touch of oak. Theres almost some prunes there too. Very smooth medium mouthfeel. Starts with a sweet taste of molasses and caramel, works through to a bitter, slightly citric mid. Aftertaste is bittersweet, though slightly smoky, woody  and roast. Very tasty, and unique!

Hobgoblin Hobgoblin

Hobgoblin Ale 5.2%

Hobgoblin Ale is a dark, amber-tinged dark beer with a creamy-coloured head that is quite persistent. There's an immediate hoppy aromas of cut grass, nettles and leafy hedgerow, with just a hint of something darker beneath. On the palate this is quite full and creamy, with a dark chocolate edge to mollasses and dark, bittersweet, plummy fruit. That sweetness persists, but there are hints of hazelnut and bitters in this quite complex beer that finishes dry and long.
