Greene King Strong Suffolk Ale Greene King Strong Suffolk Vintage Ale 6% It pours a deep brown with a tight small light brown head. Good head retention. Strong aroma of fruity plums, malty caramel, chocolate and a touch of oak. Theres almost some prunes there too. Very smooth medium mouthfeel. Starts with a sweet taste of molasses and caramel, works through to a bitter, slightly citric mid. Aftertaste is bittersweet, though slightly smoky, woody  and roast. Very tasty, and unique! Hobgoblin Hobgoblin Ale 5.2% Hobgoblin Ale is a dark, amber-tinged dark beer with a creamy-coloured head that is quite persistent. There's an immediate hoppy aromas of cut grass, nettles and leafy hedgerow, with just a hint of something darker beneath. On the palate this is quite full and creamy, with a dark chocolate edge to mollasses and dark, bittersweet, plummy fruit.
