Mort Subite Framboise 4.5%

A dusky, cloudy pinkish coloured beer with a low but full and complete head. There are some dense clumps of foam in the centre and it leaves a thick ring.
It has a light raspberry aroma with hints of other berries and citrus. Quite a mild aroma.
The taste is strongly of raspberries; there is a pleasant tartness to offset the sweetness. It is a lot like a dessert wine or a sweet pink Champaign.
Very nicely blended to keep the raspberries from overwhelming.
The feel is slightly thick and sparkling with some dryness, also like pink champagne, while the finish is of raspberry with a tart and tangy bitterness.
A sparkling citrus and berry taste lingers for quite a while.
